Paddle Spotlight!
The paddle of the week is not just one paddle but the entire line-up from Vatic Pro. As we enter our second year of business, it’s clear that Vatic Pro is our top-selling pickleball paddle. Daryl Wang, Founder of Vatic Pro, did a great job addressing the majority of the market.
Something for everyone: The two most popular lines of Vatic Pro paddles are the Flash and Prism Flash. The Flash is thermoformed for more power, while the Prism Flash is not thermoformed and designed for control. Both lines have the options of 16mm and 14mm thickness and hybrid and elongated shapes.
Skill level: You’ll see beginners, advanced beginners, intermediate, and expert players, all playing with Vatic Pro paddles.
Price: The Prism Flash retails for $99.99, while the Flash is $139.99. Use discount code SIMPLY10 to save $10!

Hi Pickleballers -
How’s the weather where you are? We got a break in the rain and headed out to the pickleball courts this evening. It was a little cold with some wind, but not too bad. However, we did encounter a pretty serious issue. Normally, we find competitive games, but no such luck tonight - no one showed up!
We ended up drilling and playing skinny singles for a few hours before calling it quits. There is no question that consistent drilling has significantly improved my pickleball game. It also made me think about all the pickleballers from colder climates with nowhere to play with snow on the ground. If that was my fate, I’d resort to at-home pickleball training aids.
There are two companies in particular who’ve built training aids that can be useful at home in an open space or in the garage:
Enhance Pickleball: They’re responsible for The Dink Master, The Dink Pad, and now The Mini-Court. I use the Dink Master often since many private pickleball facilities have them. Save 10% on any purchase with code SIMPLYPB.
TopspinPro for Pickleball: The TopspinPro can fit in a small space and does wonders for your game. It’s great to help develop muscle memory for topspin on serves and drives. I have a few discount coupons available - respond to this email if interested. First come, first serve…

Four Uses of Training Aids
Pickleball training aids are fantastic tools designed to target specific aspects of your game and enhance your skills. Here are a few ways they can help:
Pickleball training aids are fantastic tools designed to target specific aspects of your game and enhance your skills. Here's how they can help:
Skill Refinement: Training aids focus on particular skills like accuracy, power, or control. For instance, using The Dink Master regularly will help with hand-eye coordination during fast hand battles at the net.
Muscle Memory: Many aids help in developing muscle memory. For example, a ball machine can consistently deliver shots, allowing you to practice your returns repetitively, reinforcing the muscle memory required for those shots.
Technique Improvement: Some aids, like the TopspinPro can help with the topspin. It can help correct form issues and develop a more efficient and effective stroke.
Solo Practice: Many aids are designed for solo practice, allowing players to improve even without a partner. For instance, a rebound net or Dink Pad can simulate shots, providing a way to practice alone.
Are there other training aids or drills you use at home with nowhere to play pickleball? Shoot me a note and let me know!
